Dr. Danilo Saccani

Danilo Saccani earned a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2014, after which he worked as mechanical design engineer until 2017. He achieved the M.Sc. in automation and control engineering still from the Politecnico di Milano, in 2019, with a thesis on “Modelling and learning-based hybrid predictive control with recurrent neural networks of the cooling station of a large business center”. He obtained the Ph.D in Information Technology, area Systems and Control, at Politecnico di Milano, working at SAS-Lab on modeling, control and autonomous navigation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and model predictive control. He defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Model Predictive Control for constrained navigation of autonomous vehicles” on February 24th, 2023.
