Syed Hassan Ahmed completed his MSc in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, with a thesis titled “Wireless Power Transfer to Hybrid Energy Storage System: A Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning-based Model-free Controllers” in August 2023. Since September 2023, he has been pursuing his Ph.D. at SAS-Lab under the supervision of Prof. Lorenzo Fagiano. His research focuses on disturbance learning model predictive control and control of Airborne Wind Energy systems.
