Sofia Trombini graduated in Automation and Control engineering at Politecnico di Milano in December 2022 with the thesis “Hydrogen production from offshore Airborne Wind Energy: system modelling and cost analysis”. Since March 2023, she has been working on her PhD at SAS-Lab under the supervision of prof. Lorenzo Fagiano. Her research focuses on developing the first Airborne Wind Energy System model in the deep offshore environment.
