Bruges, Belgium, to present the lab&#8217;s latest research at the Torque 2026 conference and connect with the global wind energy community.<\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Both presentations took center stage during the Airborne Wind Energy theme session:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"5\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Dr. Filippo Trevisi<\/b> shared a one-degree-of-freedom model designed for power curve estimation of fly-gen AWES.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Andrea Bertozzi<\/b> presented findings on the quasi-steady simulations and optimization of the pumping cycle for soft-wing ground-generation AWES, a collaborative effort with
